Hello Stampers! Yay - it's the weekend!!! I got the yard mowed today so that I could do more stamping tomorrow!! Anyway, this is my card for the color challenge on splitcoast. The colors for this challenge are baja breeze (bashful blue to substitute), Tempting turquoise, apricot appeal and creamy caramel. I don't think I have ever used this color combo before so it was fun to try it. Have fun with this one - Enjoy!

Hello Stampers! I had a new "Stalkee" today. I stalked the "Stampin Pretty" blog and found a card using the most gorgeous paper that I have ever seen! It is going to be new in the SU catalog and it is called Raspberry Tart. I usually don't get that wound up about DSP but this one is da bomb. It will be my paper of the month at my next club meeting.

I didn't vary much from the creator's original card. I didn't put as many details into it as she did, not that I didn't love it that way, just trying to make it more simple for a class. Here is the original here. Enjoy!

Hello Stampers! I hope all is going well with everyone out there in blogland! I am all prepared for convention. Swaps are done: 200 card fronts, 30 3D items, gifts for room-mates to be exact!

This is a card that I did for a little card class at a local church. We did 2 cards with matching envelopes and I believe all the ladies enjoyed it very much. I found this cute little card, here, on splitcoast stampers. This is a very simple card to do, the only thing I did that may not be noticeable in the picture was misting the stamps with water after coloring them to blend the colors in. Enjoy!

Hello Stampers! Hope you all have had a great weekend! We have been busy planning my new stamp room! The loft of my house is getting a wee bit crowded so we are cleaning out the bonus room that we never finished when building the house. It is a 28 x 28 room that will be a great workspace! We plan on putting in a 1/2 bath and a sitting area with a projection TV. I can't wait! I am trying not to get too excited because every time we make plans like this, something comes up or breaks and the money disappears!

Anyway.....here is another stamp camp project from this past Friday night. It uses lots of punches! I love punches! When I stamped up the leftovers from camp, I ran my punched pieces thru the xyron and it made things go much faster. Enjoy!

I really had fun picking out the stamp camp projects for this month. I was a little stressed because I felt under pressure to get them done but it finally all came together. This project uses another one of the Sale-a-bration sets and is CASE'd from the card in the brochure. I used just a plain ole' corsage pin in place of the pin from the pretties kit. Enjoy!

Snowed In!

Hello stampers! I have a day off today due to snow. The schools are closed and I just wasn't in the mood to take them to work with me - that would be a nightmare. I doubt too many people are going to be out getting xrays today anyway - unless they are in the emergency room!

I am doing a home workshop Monday night and decided to work on the projects today. This is one card that I made. I found this idea from here in the splitcoast gallery - I only changed the stamp set and sentiment. I thought it would be a very good project for new and seasoned stampers. It uses several different kinds of stampin up products for them to play with - ribbon, brads, punches, etc. The stamp is the same from the last post out of the Fun & Fast Notes set which would be a perfect purchase for anyone.

How is everyone in blogland doing? I hope you all have your Christmas shopping all finished and all presents wrapped....huh huh. I am soooo not ready for Christmas. We are leaving for our annual Gatlinburg trip on the 19th (we always spend Christmas in the mountains) and I am still not done with my shopping. Maybe this weekend I will finish up.
