New Year's Resolutions & Blog Candy

Hey Stampers! I am back and feeling refreshed after my vacation in the Smokey Mountains for Christmas. The cabin we stayed in was so cute and cozy. It had everything we needed right there if we decided to be hermits and not get out. I have to say, I wasn't ready to come home! Luckily, before we left, I received my new Stampin Up Spring/Summer catalogs!! That kept me entertained in the car on the way, making my wish list and drooling over all the cute new stamps and papers! I have to say that I was a little angry with SU when I saw that they were retiring so many more of the stamp sets that I have. But...after seeing the new catty, I got over it pretty quickly!

I am planning a stamp camp for January 25th so catalogs can be purchased there or if you want one sooner than that, just give me a call or email me and I will get one to you. I am also planning on doing an embossed tile class in February - these tile are stamped with craft ink and embossed with glassy glaze to make a decorative tile that is perfect for gifts. Sell-a-bration starts Feb 1st and the free sets that you can earn are FABULOUS! You get a free set for every $50 you purchase. Be sure to contact me if you would like to host a home workshop or do a catalog show during this promotion.

Anyway..the reason for my post...I want you all to send me a comment telling me your New Year's Resolutions. All of you that leave me a comment will go into a drawing for some blog candy (not for sure what the prize will be yet)!!!! The drawing will be held on Jan. 4th. My resolutions are: #1 get back into stamping (I have been really lazy since the time change, is that seasonal depression or something?) #2 get back to running on the treadmill before I turn back into a blob #3 do more with my stampin up business (more classes, home workshops). That should give me plenty to work on!

The SU cattys are only just making their way to the UK - I'd love to see one.
Anyway, my resolution is to help my daughter more with her violin practice as she has her highest grade coming up in Feb, and a recital for her school exams.
Happy New Year.

Be a better person.

I'm not a big resolution maker, since it sets me up for failure every time (!) but... I'm resolving to scrap more this year. I've really let that slide this past year. I've already signed up for a "Layout A Day" class at Big Picture Scrapbooking, so I'm on my way!

Let's see, some goals for 2008
* Declutter and organize the kitchen, bath and bedrooms.
* Use up my scrapping/stamping stash, it is getting out of hand.
* Do a better job of managing the finances.
That should keep me plenty busy!
Glad you are back to blogging! Thanks for the chance to win some candy!

New years resolutions...well I usually don't make resolutions, especially knowing that I won't keep them. This year I am striving to know God more and I want to become a more loving and compassionate person! Blessings to you as we enter into the new Year!!

I generally don't make resolutions, but one thing I'd like to increase is the amount of time I spend in worship and prayer. I'd also like to start using all of my scrapping supplies more often. My Cuttlebug, Spellbinder Wizard, and Cricut are getting even less exercise than I get:) OK - I guess I could make the resolution to get more exercise.
